Standing Committees
Arts & Letters: Promotes and supports cultural arts in the community and develop programs in accordance with the Grand Chapter's directions.
Budget & Finance: Studies and develops financial plans, including review of the Chapter's budget quarterly considering the financil needs of the Chapter.
Courtesy & Hospitality: Extends courtesies to Chapter members during times of celebration, illness, condolences, etc.
Executive Committee: Prepares the agenda for the Executive Committee.
Executive Board: Responsible for the general management of the Chapter's affairs between business meetings and makes recommendations to the body on committee reports for action.
Fundraising: Plans, organizes, and coordinates appropriate events to raise funds for Chapter programs and projects.
Heritage & Archives: Prepares materials for exhibition at conventions and other activities, and maintains a scrapbook up to date with documentary evidence of the Chapter's activities.
Information and Communications: Maintains the Chapter's email distribution list, compiles and updates the Chapter's directory annually, and notifies financial members with pertinent information per the Chapter President.
Internal Audit: Audit the Chapter's financial records on a quarterly and annual basis according to the Internal Audit Manual.
Membership: Responsible for coordinating bonding and sisterhood activities to maintain Chapter morale, including reclamation programs.
Nominating: Responsible for soliciting and receiving nominations from members of persons to serve in any elected Chapter office or position, which includes the Minerva Circle.
Policies & Procedures/Constitution & By-Laws: Responsible for drafting and submitting to the Chapter any amendments or changes that the Chapter or Grand Chapter deem necessary on an annual basis.
Public Relations/Publicity: Prepares press releases (distributes to the print and electronic media), a newsletter periodically informing Chapter members of relevant activities and accomplishments of committees and members, obtains photographer for pictures, and manages and monitors the Chapter's social media pages and accounts.
Risk Management: Receive training and become knowledgeable about Delta’s policies, procedures and guidelines for working with youth initiatives. Conduct training on the policies, procedures and guidelines of Risk Management to all members and volunteers seeking to work with youth initiatives.
Rituals & Ceremonies: Support the Chapter with implementation of any Chapter ceremonies, ensuring the Chapter conducts the ceremonies in accordance with the current Ritual.
Scholarship: Responsible for administering the scholarship program to maximize benefit to deserving students who aspire for higher education by developing/recommending scholarship criteria (reviewing applications) and distribution of scholarship funds.
Technology: Assist Chapter with computer generated brochures, programs, technology development, and website maintenance and development
